Aimee & Miles {mommy&me} - Coffeyville, KS

This is one of my favorites! Everything about these two was so sweet - lots of love here! I really get a sense of satisfaction doing portraits for people I know and being able to give them something to remember & cherish. I went to high school & college with two of Aimee's siblings but hadn't yet had the pleasure of meeting her. She's great & so is this adorable little guy:

I wasn't going to spill this location before, but I think everyone around here knows where it is already, so I'll divulge. We went to the old stone pool house here in Coffeyville so we could use the blue door. I guess Aimee & all her siblings worked at the pool so that was neat to have in her pictures! She had seen the blue door background in a recent maternity session and loved it, and then when we walked up to it, she said "Oh. Well that's kind of ugly in person!" Photoshop magic I suppose! ;) Anyway, these speak for themselves:

We then moved on to another favorite spot - this one I'll keep a secret. I have been wanting to use books in a session and had packed up some Suess, and here comes Aimee with Where the Wild Things Are. PERFECT!

"I'll eat you up, I love you so."

Lastly, we moved on out to the pasture to play in the wild flowers. Just kidding, Miles was really done with pictures at this point, but he was still SO well behaved! He did great, and his auntie was there making him smile.

Jake {Baby} - Coffeyville, KS

Baby Jake is my first ever Baby Monthly client - other than my own daughter anyway! The Baby Monthly special is a steal and a great keepsake of baby's first year.  Check out more information here.

These are some of Jake's newborn/1 month (he spent his newborn days in the NICU so mom didn't get a chance for photos) and 2 month photos. Jake's mom is another old teammate of mine.  Love it when those people bring me their babies!

Family shot!

2-month:
How sweet is he in this crab hat? It's one of my favorite baby pictures!

Baby laughs!

Beckham {CakeSmash} - Coffeyville, KS

Beckham turned ONE!  He is one of four babies I've gotten to do both their newborn and cake smash sessions for.  Isn't he just adorable?  His grandma made this adorable Mickey Mouse outfit.

Ari {6months} - Coffeyville, KS

Ari J is 6 months old!  (We all know I'm behind on blogging, so really she is almost 8 months - crazy!)  I just LOVE her. Her personality is really starting to come out and I can't wait to see what she's like here in a few months.  She's so giggly and goofy and sweet - not to mention absolutely gorgeous.

This is one of my favorite pictures of her!  We JUST started wearing headbands, too.
^^^Look at that wingspan and those long fingers!  Future pitcher?! I hope it's that instead of this model pose/look she is giving me.
^These were taken by the park that I frequently take pictures near.  There's such a pretty spot with a big fountain that has been there forever and I never even knew about it!

Abram {2} - Coffeyville, KS

Abram is 2!  Ok, so this happened almost three months ago now, but I've been busy! That's probably for the best so I won't get all mommy mushy about how big he is getting.  But seriously, look at this miniature man!  I cannot believe it was two years ago that he changed my life forever.  He is so sweet, funny and lovable, but also insanely ornery and stubborn.  He's a lot of fun and I can't even describe how much I love him.  Now look at his pictures!

These first ones, I took out at my parents' pasture (pretty, huh?) for his party invitations.  Then, poor guy didn't even get a party because his little baby sister was sick AND I hurt my back to the point of being unable to walk for weeks.  Bummer, but they were cute anyway!

Karsyn {3} - Coffeyville, KS

Karsyn is such a sweetheart!  She loves the park so her mom & dad thought that was the perfect spot for her birthday pictures.

I think they were right.  It was fun going back to a place where I played and had birthday parties of my own.

We first stopped down the walking trail where Karsyn mostly wanted to wear mom's sunglasses and chase dad who had her favorite toy.  I managed to sneak a few pictures in.

Over at the playground, we took a few of my favorite pictures.

Karsyn spent most of her time on the swings and I got to play around with light/editing on this set.

We tried the glitter blowing thing, had a meltdown, and finished on a high point.
